On August 21st, the members of Torpedo Squadron 8 returned to a normal drill schedule. The Cadets and Officers went to Boot Camp or Advanced Training over the summer, and this drill was a chance for the Cadets to share their experiences with the other members of the unit. The drill also was a chance for TS8 to plan out the next year’s worth of events and assign Officers and Cadets to plan out the events to be reported back to the CO. Cadet Brown received his First Year Ribbon as well as a promotion to E-2 Airman Apprentice for completion of the Basic Military Requirements and Recruit Training.
