Torpedo Squadron 8 is a new Naval Sea Cadet Corps unit serving the metro Phoenix East Valley area.  Torpedo Squadron 8 is named after a naval air squadron which valiantly and, with great sacrifice, led the attack against the Imperial Japanese Navy in the Battle of Midway during World War II in mid-1942.

The Naval Sea Cadet Corps (USNSCC) is committed to providing a drug and alcohol free environment fostering leadership abilities, broadening horizons through hands-on training and guiding teens to becoming mature young adults.  Naval Sea Cadets have the opportunity to participate in exciting local and national training programs, local parades and to serve as color guards at major events.
